If Op's been playing for 17 months, then that is roughly 10.5-11 months pre profile. That's roughly 950 obstacles assuming 3 per day.

Assuming OP cleared obstacles up to the profile update, the effect of the profile is likely to be 450 of the 600 missing obstacles. ie as at today the effect of the profile is the main thing.

Although this does suggest there is something not quite right with the spawn rate, and the effect will become more pronounced relative to the profile in time.

If a bush can give you up to 6 gems.
