Am I the only one that doesn't use revenge?

I've never found it wise to revenge someone. Other than when I was maybe like a th3, I can't think of a time when I've ever used it. Just doesn't seem worth it to me. If and when I do get attacked, I watch the replay to see my deficiencies with my defense. I'll even check out the attacker's base, but usually one of two things happen:

1) Either the person that attacked me has a way over powered defense, or

2) The person that attacked me has so few resources to take back that it's not even worth it.

Just wondering if I'm alone in my thinking.

I don't use revenge because trying to revenge in champion made me give up trying the revenge button forever.

I used to think so, but then the 'nexting' problem appeared and using revenge sometimes worked. I mean it's possible that you might find someone who doesn't have a good defense and a good loot or simply you want to do something to this noob who has lightning spell'd your DES. I use it only when i'm really bored at looking for a match or if I have a good army composition.

However I do think that when it's about trophy hunting it is way unfair to connect and see a -59. I think this limit should be lower

I wouldn't revenge if the resourses aren't there to make it worth it either. But if someone is higher TH and has lots of resourses I'll get an army together that can beat them. Barch does ok against most 8s or for 9s I'll make a hog or dragon army to handle em. Once in a while I'll revenge someone just for trophys to. If someone hits me that's pushing I'll wait a day or 2 and hit them back when it gives me 40+ for a 3 star

I only really revenge people that zap my DE if they're worth attacking. I'll always check every now and then to see if their base is available.

I don't like to use revenge im farming so all the bases have no loot

I never even try or bother checking who attacked me. I used to try and revenge people who zapped but found it was more hassle than anything.

I don't revenge unless I can atleast two star their base.
however, I also activly hunt down and revenge any TH6 sniping to crystal... hehe

Generally no, but that's mainly because there's no way to know (besides destroyed buildings) if the user you are trying to revenge is currently online or under a shield. It's a pain to form an attack army based on the person you want to revenge only to find you can't revenge them at the time. Even if you don't make a special army, having to check in every hour or so to see if the shield is up or they finally went offline is annoying.

What we really need is a little indicator that lets you know if revenge on someone is currently available or not.

I don't use revenge at all because most of the people that raid me are miles more powerful than me base wise. There's no way I could crack their core. As they say the strong prey on the weak.

Usually I just forget about it but sometimes I go over the list to see if there's anything nice to raid. But that's quite rare.

I never revenge attack , seems a bit petty to me

Revenge list should have a tab that only shows bases that are currently available to revenge.

I never use it because it's a pain in the butt to click them all looking for those available to attack, and 99% of the time they aren't worth attacking anyway, and then you have to scroll down finding your place in the list to keep looking. Nine times out of ten there isn't a singe player on my list worth attacking, so I never check anymore.

Probably used the button twice in 6 months. Too busy next-ing.

i get mostly th snipers who are th7 or 8s. they never have loot :/

I only revenge people if they have a lot of DE to zap or easy gold.

Me too! They are the only ones i keep trying before in every 5-6 raids lol!

I personally have no problem using the revenge.....more so with my th8 than my 10. Mass dragon always works even against those "above my level". But then I've been known to hold a grudge.

Revenging is more hassle than its worth. Do they have loot? Are they online? Do they have a shield? It's almost like the stars have to align, so I don't even bother. Well, once in a while I might try....a long time ago I had luck with it...

I don't even check the list honestly....just look at the replay and see where your defense lacks. When you want to revenge someone either they have a shield, they are online, or they don't even have any resources...what's the point.

I've given up using revenge as the button is broken for me.

When I stay in lower trophy range, it's those tiny little th 7s that I can get.
When I stay in higher trophy range, they just simply never work.

I hardly ever revenge. I remember when I used to try and I'd always end up gaining only like 1 trophy and a small amount of loot. Much more worth it just to look for a new base to raid.

I usually don't revenge people, scrolling through the list is very slow and I also miss my league bonus which in masters is effective if you're farming.

I dont bother with revenge. Trying to find someone worth raiding who isnt under a shield or online is like trying to find rocking horse ....

+1. Me too. i don't revenge as an daily exercise, definitely not the ones who snipe TH. But when loot is bad, i search my revenge list. I feel loot is better in my revenge list than the system :rolleyes:

Ah revenge.. I was sniping THs and free shielding people with tons of resources to get to gold I for hog upgrade to level 2 and most of those ungrateful pricks revenged me back resulting in 2 star and 3 star losses.

No I don't use it either. players always seem to be shielded, so I've since given up trying.

i revenge zappers and it does come in handy for pushing. If loot is really bad, its always worth having a look through your revenge list, someone might have some and you don't have to pay for the nexting.

but in the scheme of things, I revenge relatively rarely

I used to think the same too until i realised im nexting $50k to $70k gold anyway so i only gain minimal league bonus. Worth revenging if its rich in gold and DE :)

I think of revenging when somebody zap my DE. I don't care if they have ressources or not.

When doing a push, I use revenge to go from crystal 3 to crystal 1 so I don't get revenged while going up. Sorry to those who gave me a free shield. I don't push often so I hope they don't mind being used that way.

I'm so disapointed when I get no league bonus for those wins. Like it's easy to revenge-win somebody with 2650 trophies.

As a true farmer I'll only ever revenge if the resources are worth it.

Good Guy Greg see you snipe his base, revenge by dropping one troop then surrender

Revenge is a good way to lower trophy. Just drop a barbarian king next to a builder's hut, so I can lower trophy and farm Union Buster in 1 go without paying the search button.

Sometimes, it gives 300-400 k loot too, which is quite lucrative considering I don't pay the search button.

I only revenge zappers. That being said if one of them is always online, ill go visit their clan and ask if they would be so kind as to logoff so i can show em how it's really done :cool:

I only use it when I've accidentally cooked 10 dragons.

I'm not a big revenger. I'm a pacifist really

I don't have the patience to revenge, generally, unless it's some DE lightning attack and then I've got all the time in the world to make sure he gets payback...even if I have to wait a week for his DE to accumulate to make it worthwhile...
