Just wait until you have to save 100K + for each upgrade and then come and tell us how great zapping is.
Can't say it particularly bothers me. I regularly flatten TH7's in my trophy range to stop them stinking up the place, if they petulantly want to throw lightning at the DE of someone far better then bless them.
Bragging about it doesn't make you any less irrelevant, why not come back when you have actually achieved something of note?

Honestly, I think the Lightning Spell is like the Famas from Call of Duty: BO1. Everyone on the forums complains about it, but nothing is ever done. Eventually, everyone starts using it to make it fair.
Since TH10's zapping isn't likely, The hate will go on until the game dies.
