Leave your town hall outside for cheap shields, find a great base design for protecting your gold, play as much as possible. Just under 2k is good for TH10 for gold. Good luck!
I had my single player missions saved up for TH10. You could use the resources from there in case you haven't already. Otherwise, drop to Gold league and BAM your way towards those fiery towers!
Before my upgrade finished I maxed out my storages so I had 8 mill gold when I got to TH10 which made it a lot easier to build my new defenses. It would have taken me forever to get 13mill gold for 2 inferno towers and an xbow if I didn't do that.
Put your townhall outside in Gold 1-enough loot there with BAM (you will occasionally lose money due to amount of nexting though).
my suggestion is to raid like crazy using a cheap fast army in gold leages
Basically just be more active and you'll get them faster
Th outside and low cups.
Here is my second account, it is weak as anything but hasn't hade a storage taken since th8. I am now building infernos because I had too much gold (this account only cares about elixer) purely from mines. No gems on this account and only 2 builders.
