After reading UnitySharp's guide, I figured that I should farm dark elixir first to get my heroes and dark troops up. So where is the best place to find dark elixir? By the way I'm TH9 and any attack strategies would be appreciated.
I've seen loonions but doesn't that take too long for a farming army?

From experience, DE will be found the higher you go in trophies. You will most likely see a big increase starting from crystal+, rather than silver-gold league.

Like stickyrice said, crystal is awesome for DE. Im in crystal atm and in 5 days i gained 15k DE.:D:cool:
