Are Gems considered Taxes?
Can gems be considered TAXES?!?!
I am sure others have thought about this, but I want to put this out there and see if Steve or Marika can tell us whats happening.
Its a simple idea, but a different way of looking at it. Should we be thanking our gemmers?
I don't know the answer, so I created this thread.
Lets start by a simple fact. Tax payers pay taxes to the government and the tax money collected can be put forward/invested in government funding. Yea, we all know.
But what if...
When we purchase gems...does that money go to game developing or helping Supercell advance their games?
If this is the case, and I do NOT know if it is or not, please tell us Supercell, unless you aren't already have...
If this is true, than I thank all the gemmers out there who in my mind wash their money down the toilet that has a drainage pipe leading to Supercell's headquarters all the way in Finland, so they can work with that same dollar and invest it in game development or any other kind of things, like new graphic equipment and whatever they might need, maybe some SC T-shirts too.
Would like to hear from some mods on this. Is this true? If not, and I do not think this is will be an "incorrect" but if it isn't...how are you getting money to advance the game? Or does it take any money at all?
So much questions, such little time. Thanks for reading everyone! Post ideas in comments below:o
