I am level 81 atm, and I have all defenses except for a couple level 9 Archer towers maxed. Also, I have 88 out of 225 skull walls and the rest are purple. My BK is level 8. I was wondering if I should just go to th 9 or stay and max barracks and rest of Archer towers. All help is greatly appreciated.
Honestly Friend i think you should get those towers up to max before you go up, th9 is abit harder to find stuff well atleast for me but goodluck its your choice!
Yeah I'm sure if I was to upgrade to th 9 I would be able to finish the Archer towers easily as it only takes 5 days to upgrade. Thanks for the quick response.Quote:

If thats the case, upgrade the TH ASAP!!!!!!! Walls don't matter until your making the question of upgrading from a TH9 to a TH10 because the loot difference in gold is HUGE. As a th9, you can farm just as much gold than a TH8. You'll have a stronger and larger army which will greatly helpQuote:

I'll give you the same advice as R3taliate in his thread 'should i rush my townhall'
I went TH9 only 10 days ago with only a third of my walls skulls and BK at L6.
If you're happy where you ar farming for walls and dex, I say keep at it.
Barching TH7s is easy and rewarding - I just got bored, staggered by the amounts needed to upgrade all my walls. To stay in the fun and for the challenge I went for TH9. What to do before you press the button and during the upgrade check 'Last things for TH8'.
If you do, just keep in mind that you'll feel the loot penalty at once, but it takes time to get the stronger troops: 5 days for the lab, 10 days each for barbs, giants, balloons, healers and 14 days for the archers. What's more all these upgrades do not come cheap, you'll be sitting on resources a deal and now be prone to TH10 attackers.
It's all turning out ok for me up til now, but it might come as shock if you're not aware.
On an after thought: suddenly elix is valuable again, so much I'm not doing any big gold upgrades now and am happy that I still have some L7 walls to dump my gold into.

I agree barching TH7 is easy and fun as TH8 and you will feel the loot penalty at your first days of TH9
but if you're farming on Gold2 and higher, you will rarely see th7 there, and those th8 10% loot penalty is unnoticeable.
and when you already have AQ, maxed camps and 4 spells, it's much better than the 10% loot penalty
it gets much better when the Giants Lv.6 come out from the lab...
you'll be able to farm much more base you can't when you're on TH8 and your productivity will increase significantly
as defending th10, I feel defending as TH9 against TH10 is much easier than TH8 against TH9 (on gold league)
I think it's because th10 farming troops have very little difference to TH9, they just have 20 extra troops and 1 extra spells.
When I'm on TH8, I got busted almost everytime when I have more than 2 million in hand,
but on TH9, I can pile my gold for the expensive WT, xbows, It's much more saver because we have extra 25 walls to break, extra WT, AD, AT and two Xbows while oour opponents just have extra 20 army space and 1 extra spells.
I appreciate the feedback guys. I decided I am going to upgrade today. Only problem is, I still have hogs level 1, dragons level 2, heal spell, valkeries, pekkas, and golems left in my lab to do. Is it fine if I just skip it?
You will die of bordem of farming for your walls level 9 and up in th9. Best to skull all walls first
You'll do fine. Spells you barely needed for farming. Once you get lvl 6 troops, you won't rely too much on spells anyway.
Dragons, PEKKAs, valkyries and golems are useful only if you planned to farm at master league (which you won't anyway).
Hogs are luxury. They're good, but you can do without. And their cost is no longer that cheap either. Only use them if you feel like pushing.
I even don't have hogs yet until now... My dark barracks is just lvl.1... Dragons lvl.1... Don't have pekka either...Quote:

I usually just barch or bam when I am farming, and all of those were maxed for a long time now. I plan to move to more of a giant based army once I get to th 9 cause those things are crazy good.
