Push to Champion Help

OK, here is the absolute best advice I can give you.

1. Find an army that is "your" favourite. Pretty much any army can get to Champs. I've seen Barch, Hogs, Loons/Mins, GoWiWi etc etc.
2. Be patient and do not force it. Take your time to pick the right base and use the 30 seconds to fully analyse it each time before starting. (ie: If you're barching keep an eye on Mortars / Wizard Towers. If you're looning then try to find central ADs. If you're GoWiWing then just attack anything :))
3. Always make sure you have full army, full spells and both heroes. Once you get to Champs then you can skimp on the missing spells / heroes etc, but getting there you should have everything just in case.
4. It could be a slow journey so you really need time. Are you able to dedicate 4 to 6 hours an evening for a few days straight? The trick is playing a session of 4 to 5 battles and winning 40 to 60 trophies. This will then be enough to cover any you lose in defense so you'll be making progress.
5. I found that I would raid in the evening, then log off and instantly get my 12 or 16 hour shield. This would not be long enough to last until I was able to play the next evening so would mean that my base would be attacked again during the day. Because of this I always tried to do 1 raid during the day (ie: break the shield, do 1 raid for 8 to 10 trophies, then logoff and get attack). The plan is that the trophies you quickly make here will soften the damage from the second attack. You'll then get another shield to last you until the evening.
6. I'd say boosting Spell Factory is a must. Boosting Heroes is a maybe and boosting barracks should be rare. Reason being that you're waiting for spells to be made so you don't need an army that quickly.
7. If you lose a battle, force yourself to watch it back a couple of times and learn from it. If you still don't know why you lost then avoid that base design, there's plenty of others out there.
8. Most important: FORGET FARMING. You will be offered some crazy bases with 600k / 600k / 6k. They will be worth 1 trophy if you win and -39 if you lose. Should you get greedy here and lose it could set you back a day! ONLY attack bases with 20+ trophies on offer. Plus, the more available the less you lose should things go wrong.

This is real advice that i just have taken which works!

I just got to Champion League about 2 days ago using Miniball (Minion + Balloon) strategy all the way. Here are some examples of troop release, base selection, etc. Hope it helps, good luck on your chase. BTW, there are tons of super talented chasers in Sky :P

Gowiwi and mass drag raids seem to be the go at the moment.

Use ballonion or Gowiwi to push..

Stitch pointers basically covered it all. I might add:

1. dont rush into attack, spend time skiping bases till u find a comfortable base tat u could win. Gold lost in skipping is well covered by winning bonus.
2. Dont attck bases with max heros if it offer any less thn 10 trphies for win. One star earn 3 trophies, two stars for 6 or 7 trophies. If ey revenge, ey could take more trophies from u than u had taken. With max heros, most likely ey will one star or even two stars u, taking from 10 to 20 trophies.
3. If for example, u are gonna attck a base from the left side, check to make sure that on the other side, there are enugh buildings outside the wall for u to use cc troops or heros to take out those buildings to get the little extra percentage to 50. This is ur backup plan juz in case u end up at 40 to 45%.

defensively, u will meet drags and gowiwi with high lvl heros. winning defenses give lot of trophies. Always try to win defensively. once u reach master 1 nearing to champion:
1. Dont group xbows or infernos too close together, coz freeze spells are common. Spread out high value defensive buildings so one freeze spell doesnt freeze more than two buildings.
2. 15 to 20 wbs are now common with gowiwi. I notice wbs target T joints. Strategically place spring traps at T joints to spring away wbs. U only hv 6 spring traps, study ur replay carefully and place traps at joints targeted often by wbs. The AI is mostly unchanging. Look for wbs pattern.
3. Wbs are usually release after golems are released and ur defensive buildings are targeting golems. Mortars are ur savior here. Place mortars at a distances such that it begins firing when golems are nearing your walls.if, u get the timing distance right, the mortar will land on the golems just when the wbs arrive at the wall and golems. This can take out a lot of wbs. Watch replays and adjust the position of mortars.
4. Set one inferno to single target, to burn golems, drags and heros. Muiti infernos doesnt work at higher master to champion league.
5. Request defesnive troops for ur cc such as wizards, drags or minis. These troops need more than one lightning to kill. Archers die too easily to lightning.

Get points 2 and 3 right, gowiwi fails when wbs are taken out, even with lvl40 heros for support. Good luck. U r in a good clan, so it shld be easier.
