Get PEKKAs back in the game.

The PEKKA is one of the most powerful troops in the game, extremely High hit points and the most DPS of any troop so far, so why don't more people use the PEKKA?

In the last update Supercell gave the PEKKA extra health at lvl 3 and 4 in an attempt to help make the PEKKA a more valuable troop, however at higher levels it is becoming less and less used.

I propose not that we make the PEKKA target defenses, or increase movement speed or give it some crazy power, but that we add a small amount of splash damage to its attacks.

This would help particularly when attacking CC troops, or when used defensively.

Often times I see PEKKAs used on defense where they spend 2.5 second and waste 600-850 damage on a single archer or barbarian. On the same track I've seen PEKKAs get destroyed by groups of Archers and barbarians simply because there are so many of them and the PEKKA can only attack one.

The splash damage added would only be about .3 tiles (similar to that of a Wizard, which is know to be useful on defense or against CC troops) This splash damage would ONLY come in handy on defense and when attacking troops, but would help make the PEKKA far more useful.

I'm not sure if anyone has already posted something like this already but I think this could be a very useful addition to a great troop. The PEKKA is one of my favorite troops but lacks a certain amount of effectiveness, I hope something like this could help bring the PEKKA back in the game and put it back on top where it belongs.

Ugh, that's what I said but supercell will never do anything about it
my other thread is called : improve the pekka

At least other troops have a splash point (Wizards fireball,Valkyries spin etc.) PEKKAs swords dont create a shockwave or any other power so...

They used to spin like the Valkyrie but now they just hit like if it was a hammer
if they bring the spin back pekka could have area splash

Swords are supposed to be used like a hammer but for killing. Who uses a sword to spin?

It would be a very simple animation change to add splash damage to the PEKKA, regardless I'm not talking about animation I am talking about a suggestion that may have the potential to make the PEKKA better. Plus you wouldn't even notice a difference in animation if they added splash damage. You only notice that Wizards have splash damage when they are on defense.

Aggreed the pekka needs some sort of boost not sure what.

Agreed. No one uses the PEKKA. Make it worth while SOMEHOW supercell.

make the sword smash down in a power smash and do splash damage. Godson said to also do this with the king as a special ability. Personally i think its a great idea! #SUPERCELLLOOK (:
