New Town Hall 9 Base: Re-Die-Rection

Hello fellow clashers,
I have been playing this game on and off for over a year now and although I love raiding and upgrading as a result of big lots gained my favourite part of the game is creating effective layouts.
I have been having a few issues with Hogs lately as well as every serious attack seeming to include meat head giants.........I would like to introduce you all to
RE-DIE-RECTION
My original town hall 9 farming base.

Strengths:
Un lurable clan castle
great X-Bow full base coverage
Wizards cover almost 4 storages
Teslas in prime positions for surprise attacks
air defences cover the whole base with strategically placed air bombs
optimal use of spring traps, mini bombs and giant bombs
town hall in free shield position
gold and Dark Elixir in a centralised protection position

I have only had one semi serious attack so far with a herd of hogs being blasted away before too much damage took place.

any thoughts or opinions are welcome

Wall breaker & gobs and your gold and DE is gone.

What is the purpose of the spring traps in the compartments with a single archer tower? Maybe I'm missing something :/

10 wallbreakers only managed to open up first set of walls nothing after that, and goblins will be decimated by wizards. (In theory)

The purpose of single spring trap by the archer towers tends to attract wallbreakers (as this part of tye wall sticks out slightly further) then giants attack this tower first through the gap in the wall where the spring trap is and ADIOSSSS

I'd think the spring traps would be more useful in openings of the compartments in between the archer towers. Since the giants would go for those defenses first. Cool base otherwise

Thanks for the advice, appreciate all opinions.

people seem to be aware of spring traps in forced funnelling points so this was done to trick them.
also once the single archer tower compartment is blown open giants then attack this defence first

It looks decent, although why are you directing the giants into the core? I would direct them around the edge.

In theory you THINK you would, air defences well placed, air bombs equally laid out and the dragon in my clan castle would definitely have something to say about that also.

id like to hear how you feel I could improve it, rather than just you would wipe me out

Very good point you make, I have an option of going down that route with a change of a few walls around the core, so far the only attacks with giants have been thwarted, but will definitely keep this in mind, thanks.

what would you do with my base? How would you direct giants around the edge instead?

Consider putting atleast 1 xbow up or else you might get wiped by loonion

All of the splash towed are in key positions, and air defenses cover the entire base... Nothing really wrong with it!

Would probably skip depending on what troops I had available. The trick to getting into a core like that is dropping a few giants and king then rage before deploying wbs 10 or more would get into centre surely and then my hungry gobs would make lite work of your gold.

Yeah will be very interested to see an attack with multiple wallbreakers, their pathing is thrown off by junctions and funnelling. But wizards in key positions to kill the little green pickpockets.

definitely an area that I will try to research and improve if needs be

Gold and de in one compartment and cc is lurable with easily lurable heroes too?
Ill take it along with your th.
It's definitely a solid base for pre crystal.

You should swap de and cc position, IT IS lurable there with the use of a giant etc.

Another thing, since at th9, losing to hogs and loonion is inevitable without disco towers,
I reckon you shouldn't have all storage packed up like that.

Good points and all noted, not had the problems yet, the hog attack I posted on previous page defence log failed, hogs circle outer base for a while and got hit hard by giant bomb placements also. Loonion debatable as not yet been attacked, but I feel the air def and air mine placement should work well. Heroes I don't use for defence unless over night and people tend to attack them sides first drawing troops out to dispatch them so it seems to work fine. Cc only lurable one my 1 of 4 archer towers segments breached. I will attach the cc radius pic now

Taken on board comments on cc and slightly edited the core, with moving the 2 gold storages and xbows to allow a single square move to centralise the cc more
