Loving The Loot System!

Hello Clashers, today I am trying to show how the new loot system is amazing! Throughout the past months I have been abusing the new loot system to maximize my income. Whenever I visit the forums, I am shocked to read that a majority of the Clashers hate the new loot system. On average, I search anywhere from 10-30 times and usually find a 200k+ of each resource.

Farming Ranges
TH7: 900-1100
TH8: 1100-1450
TH9: 1450-1650
TH10: 1750-2200

Attack Strategies
For attacking i do a basic BAM. I am trying a new attack, "HARCH" (will explain in a minute)
My BAM composition (220 Army Space)
Archers: 80
Barbarians: 80
Minions: 30

For HARCH
Archers: 92
Barbarians: 93
Hogs: 7
I release Hogs as a front line attack unit. Once front buildings are cleared out. I release the rest of my army. Barbarians to be the meat shield, Archers to clear out buildings, then release and Clan Castle, Heroes, spells accordingly to get all the loot!

In my range, I am just preying at rich TH9s, and inactives. I will either find a collector raid, or a storage raid, since my new army is versatile. My last three or four attacks have been 400+ of each. Can raid every 25-30 minutes, and finally can get all my builders going on different projects.

Finally, someone is on my side! Once the update came out, I had a strong hatred to the loot system. After I adapted to the new update, the game became a breeze to earn that MoNiEE

What TH are you? And how would you know the best ranges for all TH levels unless you went from TH7 to TH10 since December?

I must be missing something.....

I am currently TH9. I play on other friends account who are TH7's. For TH10, I have multiple friends who test the ranges and let me know. I have been testing the ranges for awhile

The ranges actually seem quite accurate based on my favorite farming ranges.

I love the new loot system too. Raided a massive 1million gold in 3 days!!! So amazing. The new system is working really well... In getting me to play other games instead :rolleyes:

You have probably heard this a lot, but maybe you just need a better strategy or need to find your sweet spot. Or maybe you raided twice a day to get a million, I dunno.

I think the loot is great, but I'm TH8 so my opinion on loot doesn't really matter.

Exactly, getting good loot just requires you to farm in a sweet spot, and to active as much as you could. If you average 10 attacks a day you should make atleast 2 Million within 24 hours

Haven't heard that one before. And I've tried everywhere from 0 to 2700. So you tell me where the so called "sweet spot" is lol and that's 1 million profit over 3 days of raiding.

I'm assuming your a TH10. Try 2000-2200, my old clan elder got all 3 xbows to L4, and two wizard towers to L8 within 6 days

This may sound weird but I can't tell you where the sweet spot it is. Thats why it is a sweet spot, whatever works for you. There isn't a certain one, it is just where a particular person feels comfortable raiding.

The poll seems a bit weighted, lol...

Contrary to your stated point I think your numbers show that the loot system sucks. In 21 hours you didn't even farm enough gold for 1 lava wall. You should be able to get 3 million gold as a th9 in 3 hours. It it painfully clear that almost everyone on this forum who likes the new loot system is boosting, or is happy with a 45 minute army and 500k per hour loot.

Do you have any idea how long it will take you to max th9 when you make 3 million per day? The whole system is so screwed up with the pushing back of inactives and the fact that elixer builds at the same pace as gold but the amount of gold needed is exponentially higher due to walls.

The new loot system is great. The loot system desperately needed to be updated. The old one worked fine while TH8 was the max TH, but for TH9 and TH10 something had to be done. Unfortunately the new loot system does have a negative side affect, which is that we have to do too much nexting. It's almost impossible to do a quick raid while having a coffee break. I rather stay under my shield because chances are I'm going to lose more than I can make.

Lets just say inactives are removed from the game. I pressed next 750 times yesterday and still there wasn't even a sign of inactives. Basically well never be able to find one and make a profit.

I like the new loot system but the loot is ♥♥♥♥ty as ♥♥♥♥ on weekends.

good loot for a th6?

When i was in town hall 9, I loot more than you. But when I upgraded to TH10. Things changed.

If you are at TH10. attack TH8 you will be penalty by 50%; So I seldom attach them.

Attack TH9 you can get max 315K from their storage if they have more than 3Mil.
Attack TH10 I can get 10% from their storage only It means if they have more than 4Mil you can get max 400K. Sound good hud? But the thing is how many times you click "Next" to find a town hall 9 or 10 with more than 3 mil in their storage. And If you find them can you get all the loot? TH9-10 they are all pros, defend is very good. Most of TH10 farmers look for inactive base and now they are as rare as gold.

There is 1 time I spent 270k gold to find a good loot. My trophy range is 1700-2200

Basically, the loot is still good for all THs if you have enough time and gold to click NEXT

The fact of the matter is that anyone who is below TH10 really doesn't know how negatively this loot system affects TH10.

Yes, there are exceptions when people raid every 30-40 minutes for the entire day, but that's not the norm. The town hall loot penalty combined with the new system's decreased max raidable % has utterly crippled the ability to make a substantial profit at under 2400 trophies without spending hours (literally!) and hundreds of thousands of gold on searching every day.

On the flip side, the increased cap has made saving 4M+ loot above 2400 trophies extremely difficult because it's so easy in that range to get at least 1-2 of each storage with even a mediocre army/raid (not to mention the cost of reseting traps, x-bows, and infernos after every single raid). Again, the only real way to combat this is to raid constantly throughout the day. Most people in the world simply do not have time for this.
