So what I've noticed is when being matched for battles, the games uses trophies and league status to determine match ups. I dont think its fair for a lvl 100 to be able to attack a lvl 40 just because they roughly have the same amount of trophies. Clearly the lvl 40 would be no match for the lvl 100.
Matching system should be lvl based.
Whats your thoughts on this.

a lvl 100 and a lvl 40 are likely to have a different TH lvl. Loot penalty means the lvl 100 is unlikely to attack.
There is a loot penalty which means if, for example, a Th9 player thats around level 100 attacks a Th5 player then the attacker will get almost no loot due to the penalty he's incurred from attacking a Th base far below his own.Quote:

There's a thing called loot penalty, a lvl100 = TH9 to 10, so a lvl100 never will attack a lvl40

I have experienced it. I was at lvl 56 and was raided by a lvl 101 how is that even competitive. And as far as the trophy penalty goes. If you win the attack you get the bonus trophies so thats not a concern for the higher lvl player who is attacking with stronger troops.
