Farming... Whats the point?

^ Crack me up goose! But my answer to the question would be just to enjoy the game. I think a lot of us farmers can agree that we get a bit excited finding a 700k + base. ;)

I farm so I wont have any builders sleeping AND so others can farm me ... last night was a semi big loss, but c'est la coc. My goal is to have storages as full as possible so that other people can also enjoy the thrill of attacking.

The reason I farm is because I like to build a bigger and better village. For me, that's what the game is about. I couldn't care less about trophies.

I farm to max out my towers, once my towers are maxed out the i'll play for trophies

Don't you ever say that

even if we max out our bases the game is still evolving with new characters, etc. if the updates stop you could get those trophy things, but you could also have fun playing around with troops and continuing to farm. i farm for the challenge, the strategies, and for the fun. :p

the goal is to steal from the rich and give to the poor(yourself). we farm so we can feed our villagers an afford upgrades to protect us from the vikings that may attack us from the ocean any day now. once all is said and done, then we focus on getting them trophies to prove we are better by flashing off our shiny new league badges. once everyone maxes out, they usually continue pursuing other goals, but most of the time, they quit only to come back a few weeks later to check out whats new and then the addiction returns. as for me, i have dreams of reaching the top 50 players in the world, so my journey doesnt end once my base is maxed...
