Because it's also a way to test your opponents' configs. This is very relevant in champion league where such things matter.

True and that way you could try different strategies without risking troops or trophies

yeah its a fun way to find out if a troop config would work well without the risk or a real battle. it would be a way to experiment with troop AI and see if any great configs emerge

Good idea my friend and I were talking about and idea similar to this

no if you want you can try any army config at champions league just drop down and farm for a little PLUS THIS IS AGAINST UR OWN BASE. Therefore isn't the same as raiding another champions league

Yes a great strategy for trophy hunting is to intentionally lose them. :rolleyes:

I guess it hasn't occurred to you that you could simply alter your layout to match that of a potential opponent's. Then figure out how to easily defeat it, and launch your attack risk free.
