No, he doesn't. But I think it wouldn't be a bad idea. It's not some amount of gold, but at least it wouldn't just disappear, we would get something from being nexted.
Yes the game needs to encourage players to dump all their resources and go down in trophies so people next their base more... o wait
They need to increase storage available back to 25% but game provides the difference, so player still only loses 10,12,14% actually.

But even if SC didn't want to offer gold, it would still be a great feature to just have a message that told you how many people nexted past you.
