Most players (especially at trophy levels <2200) either don't reach that cap or put their TH outside. And above this range, as I said above, means that your base is going to get attacked and will likely lose over 100K of each resource, often more from a second or third attack if the first doesn't trigger your shield.
What ends up happening is that the bases which are viable to raid end up having half the loot that they should. This was written about several weeks ago as "the exciting new 100K vs. the old, boring 200K."
I can't tell you how many times I've seen a base that would have had 200K gold available in the previous loot system but that only had 100-120K available with the new system.
This is exactly what this loot system has done. I HATE seeing all of these 80-100k bases and hitting NEXT, thinking how BEFORE this loot update, those bases would've been worth attacking.
Then hit NEXT another 50-100 times before you find someone with 200k. Ridiculous.
I once logged my searches just to prove to myself that I wasn't crazy - in about 220 searches, I think I found FIVE bases with over 200k, and only 2 over 300k gold. Seriously, is THIS what the loot system was supposed to do??
THREE MONTHS and counting since this loot system was forced upon us. I'm not sure I can take much more of this BROKEN GAME.
SOLUTION:
15% from collectors up to 2 mill. Instead of 10% up to 4 mill.
Alternatives to extra collector/level
Much bigger loot bonus and let it depend on how many stars you take.
Loot bonus for winning defence, also stars dependent.
SC should support changes that encourage players who are active, use "a real army" and try to take storages.
