As you reach TH8/9 What do you think is most useful for your Dark Elixar, I find it hard to save it up at all due to my need for training Minions. I assume Heroes are one of the first things I should be getting, but after that should I take them each to level 5 or start upgrading Dark Troops? Any help appreciated!
I too used minions alot so it was obvious to me that I should upgrade my minions first.
Then the hogs mania came and I thought I could have mixed my upgrades, but my level 5 minions were great so no regret.
Lastly the heros special abilities came and my level 11 heroes could have been higher ... 1 level higher ...
So I stick to my choice, max your minions if you use them alot. I used them to kill heroes. Only need 2 level 6 minions to kill a level 5 king. Then heros should be your priority (level 5 or 10). Hogs are a must if you wish to gain cups. I use hogs in my farming army which help me save on elixir

Barbarian king and Archer queen is inportant in your defence and it helps you Succe your attacks! :)
