I Think town hall 9 is 28 loons, 40 minions. Town hall 10 is 28 loons, 50 minions. Try here...

i use 28 loons 40 minions at th9... some people get by with using 16 loons and rest minions if thats what you're in to
20/60 24/50 for th9 or 20/70 24/60 for th10

20 loons and 60 minions. CC loons or dragon. One lightning and 3 rage. Worked great in gold 1 and crystal 3 range
I know this strategy is good for getting in to bases, but if it's a farming army, then doesn't this take ages to train?
28/40 and use 3 rages and one lighting for CC troops.
26 balloons 45 minions and 3 rage spells with 1 lightning
Depends on the objective
If you want to breach the core or otherwise use brute force, 24-28 balloons is more favorable
If you want more flexibility and don't necessary want to breach the core, just get a win (such as if your in masters) then 20 balloons to even 16 might cut it, and 28 would be too many.
I am discovering with so many multi-traget infernos once you get so high, you can do better by attacking around the towers. In these situations 16-20 loons with the rest minions tends to be better because you can spread the force out easier.
For spells I always have 1 lightening and carry 3 rages. Some people mix up rages and heal spells. I don't use heal much because infernos make them pointless
This pretty much spells it out! In masters your pretty much looking to get 50% by skirting the core. Try to deploy 6-8 bloons with a rage close to air d, wizz towers and arch towers and rage them in if yea have to. The first group should trigger the clan destroy that and proceed picking off exposed buildings with minions...good luck!
20 loons 60 minions if you're going to be farming with them... 20/60 can also be utilized effectively for pushing
Up until 2750-2850, 16 loons, rest minions, all minions or all loons in CC works just fine.
2850-champs+ I used 20 loons, 60 minions, 6 loons in CC. Very occasional 2 star, mostly 1 star.
1 light, 3 rage. Below champs, you can venture into raids with just 1 light 1 rage. Hopefully have heroes ready but can chance it sometimes too. After champs, you bring those heroes and you're chancing it with 1 light 2 rage.
28 loons in your own army camp takes too long and drains elixir.

For pushing i use 24 loons and 60 minions! normally 4 rage 1 light OR 3 rage 1 freeze 1 light
24 balls + 60 mini onions.
1 supersized fluffy in the CC and a side of 5 mini onions.
I pack 3 rages & 2 thors,
but because I am still doing major dlix upgrades, I try to use only 2 rage spells @ the most.
(Also explains why I use only 24 balls)
Because of the proliferation of dragon attacks & the number of farmers floating up,
up bows are very common, even @ 3.6K;
similarly, the re-emergence of hogs up here has encouraged many a champ to put up at least 1 disco ball.
For ^these^ reasons, I usually make do with a 1*
unless I am incredibly lucky to have found the perfect base to loon. :)
