I've always had this question in my mind: Is it possible to make the perfect base design? (trophy hunting or farming)
What I mean by this is is there a base design that I could use for trophy hunting or farming that gives me the best chances of winning and/or protecting my resources at my Town Hall level?
Every base will be weak to atleast one army. I've seen a few that are a cut above the rest but they all have weak points.
I believe no such things exists.
There are just too many different forms of attack styles that can come your way.
Best thing to try achieve IMO if establish a base design to deal with most common threats at your trophy level.
I think if this was possible it would ruin the game. Once a perfect base is found people would only look towards using that base. Base design and unique creation would be an extinct aspect of the game.
I wish..... There are some, but any base has a weakness to an army.
If you're TH9 or lower, no, because Hogs will always destroy your base

though i do have a base that works for both farming and pushing. if u visit me then u will see what u need to.
it looks hard enough to attack the 90% of the time i just lose the th even when i have 400k of each avalible to steal.
it rapes hogs apart so it does well in that aspect, i have never been more than 2 starreed my any attack except, balloonion raids, even those usaully only get 1 star, this base has done wonders for me farmong and even better up in masters when i push (i have been to masters 3 times) it sends everything around the outside first, and drags suck against it. for farimng i just take out th and move the middle around enogh so there is no open space, it looks like it is easy to get the loot but it isnt, most attacks only get 1 of each storage and that is 100k or less and this is against mostly maxed troops.
as said above there is no perfect base but this is about as clase as u can get if u are between 1,000-2,800 trophies

This is true. After watching Gazza's dragon attacks and Airlolo's balloonion attacks in addition to the normal GoWiWi, no base can be designed for all attacks. Gazza's attacks really are impeccable though.Quote:

In terms of army composition, there are so many permutations and combinations that there is no single base design to hold off all of them.
No base is safe from anything lately so there is no point in upgrading defense. SC should take away defense and then every can fight it out rampage savage style LOL. Let's say Germany military vs Finland, Finland will lose and USA military vs Finland, Finland will lose because those countries upgraded defense with gold and elixirs LOL. In reality the more you upgrade your military you will be dominate and superior by having the top defenses. In this game you can have Max defenses and walls but you will lose. Next I will bring my super soaker 5000 and wash everyone away LOL.
It's impossible... All bases are able to be 3-starred no matter what. If there is such thing then we have to search for the right layout.
Would ruin the fun. My own TH 9 version have never been 3-starred. But I have never been higher than chrystal.
There are always pros and cons to a base, i dont think there will ever be a "perfect base
