That sounds promising...that we can continue to discuss the issue. It's been mostly one-sided so far with users doing the baulk of the testing (so far as we can see). SC's contribution so far has been 'no, we're not fixing it'.
Now that the additional code is done (yes, the times and how the game works should remain unchanged) for Android, can we see some movement on this?
Very disappointing that Supercell continues to ignore it.
I wonder how much money it actually makes them, it must be quite a lot in order to be an incentive to leave the game broken in such a prominent and easy to fix way.

I know it's not perfect...it is however a bug, and one that does need fixing.
I so happen to feel quite passionate about the issue, and like to keep reminding them, just in case they forget....Support has also gone quiet on the issue..(maybe the operative I was speaking to is on holiday).
