Builder Timing Bug? INFLATED - proof....

Managed to do a spot of research this evening.

Removing a Trunk took 31.26
Pressed start simultaneously with a stopwatch...but this is minor...

I collected a mine and started the stopwatch at the same time.
And stopped (split) when the 'bubble' appeared again.
11mins:05:57 for 500 gold.

When watching a gold mine it would count up the resources with a slight pause every 5.

At a production rate of 3000 per hour this should be 500 every 10mins.
So its taking an extra 65seconds to fulfill the stated rate.

Logged off once for a short while and 2nd collection was at 11:16:39... An extra 76 seconds.

I'm under shield... I'm not even going to single player or battling. All I'm doing is moving my finger so it doesn't time out.... But 10% extra time is a joke!


I will now try to collect before bed and time it til the morning...but I'll probably be attacked, but just hope they don't attack the particular mine I'm timing on....though in all honesty with the difference seen already I can collect them all and as long as 1 remains untouched ill be OK. I think I can be out 5 secs and still be more accurate than SC.

Last day I upgraded giants to lvl 6. I started upgrading them at 23:50 and in 10 days it finished like at 1 or 2 AM
This bug is really hateful, because of this we lose the night of a working builder because the upgrade took 2 hours more than planned

Exactly its unfair, First they take a very much long time and then betray us by these things..
According to my calculations , the time increases at a rate of 1 hour/ day approximately..

Every time i upgrade something is when i come from school at 3:00, and i've been thinking its my fault for being late and not doing it in time for example i upgraded my sbow to lvl 2 its 10 days well it ended at 5:00 i thought it was my fault but i actually dont mind the game is still fun, but i like to keep a schedule. Great game

so, 3 Screen-shots (and a couple of properties to show the times taken were 9hours apart (give or take 1 minute as shown above - 10:43pm to 7:44am.)).


The first shows I've just collected (I collected all my mines, and then took this picture of the last one)...the mine is empty...hence nothing to collect. I now have 15587 gold
I then logged off, and then logged back in 9hours later. I did absolutely nothing inbetween that time (well, bar sleep).

The second pic shows I've collected a couple of mines (bearing in mind 9hours production should be 27000 gold), and now have 68384, which from 15587 is actually around 26.4k per mine.

The 3rd shows me collecting from mine 4, and I collect 27002...which is actually 9hours production. Yay...1 is working!

However, the total gold now reads 106920. 106920 - 68384 = 38536...why has mine 3 only produced 11534? It wasn't attacked.

The other 2mines were indeed attacked about 2hours into the night..so I've ignored them.

So this is less worrying than when I sit there and watch the mines...but given that only 1 mine was accurate... 2 mines were over 10mins behind (as when I did sit and watch them), and the 4th mine went quite mental...it's not very reassuring!

In summary...the production rates are inaccurate, and we're being robbed / mis-informed once again.

Ok, now that is been a couple days since my last post and upgrade. If you haven't read I set my town hall lv 6 to upgrade at 12:00 am mountain time. Now that its less than 3 hours to completion, its says that it will finish at 12:47. That is just way to much added time, I hope they did this soon

Yeah I also noticed my healer and archer towers had about 12 hours added

I started an army camp upgrade at around 3:30 3 days ago and now it's going to finish at about 4:05. That's a near 35 minute increase in just 3 days. For an x-bow, which takes about two weeks, I would have fallen behind almost 3 hours. That's the difference between me being able to start a project before volleyball practice or right before a go to bed.

Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster! It disappoints me that my first contribution is to have a whinge but I couldn't hold my frustration in any longer.

Like many of you, I'll raid as often as I can during the day / night and then upgrade some walls and start an upgrade just before bed to clear out as much of my resources as possible. As I got further in the game I started to notice my builders were consistently finishing 45mins to several hours after my normal bedtime, and to avoid having an idle builder I'd use some gems to finish the upgrade. I then started looking on here to see if anyone else was having the same issue and found this thread.

It is absolutely CRIMINAL that this has gone on for so long with SC aware of it and failing to fix it. The fact that they profit from people's desire to keep their builders busy (due to the ridiculously inflated build times, you need to get every second out of your builders) totally negates any defense they may have of "it would take up too much of our team's time to rectify it" and discredits them as a company. This has been going on for MONTHS, and in that time I'm sure they've made MILLIONS out of this glitch alone. Surely they could put some of that extra money towards a small team dedicated to rectifying this issue, they've taken the p1ss for long enough!

I have loved playing this game and would hate to see it go downhill like other games that have been mentioned, but issues like this will probably cause that to happen. I've recommended the game to several friends who have also started playing... but I would now hesitate to recommend it to anyone because it seems the more time you invest in progressing in this game the more you get punished... and this time glitch just amplifies that.

On another note, I've just discovered that when my spell factory is boosted it suffers the same time glitch caused by turning the iPad on and off... but I'm sure this is balanced out by the spells being created taking just as long. If someone could find a way to make this benefit the consumer, then you could guarantee something would get done about it quick smart!
