Are there any ‘hotfixes’ for this issue planned?
I.e. they could reduce the times for builds across the board by 30mins a day to cover the actual time lost…so all 24hr builds actually take 23hrs 30mins (plus what’s been randomly added on) instead of 24+ hours.
Or they could (granted not very likely) give away gems that would enable people to use them to finish their builds on time.
This would buy the team time to fix the problem properly…then the timings (or gem give-away) could revert to normal.
Either are very simple solutions, and wouldn’t take a lot of programming (the numbers for the builds are already there, they just need reducing a little), or they could make the 0-3 gem reward from obstacles a permanent figure (again changing the percentage figure).
and Supports suprisingly positive (...which makes me even more sceptical, but then it's the same person replying and they're not bad tbf) response:

Hello Icekool
Thanks for your answer! These are indeed great ideas - especially the one about reducing the time of upgrades a little bit. However, this might lead to a lot of discussion within the community of why this is being done.
The best way would still be to reduce the delay little by little. I will pass by some of the ideas today in the meeting and discuss them. Thanks for thinking so actively for solutions :) Yes, the team is always looking for some ways to improve current problems in the realm of the time and resources that we have available!
So if you have any more 'solutions' be it hot-fixes or otherwise, please let me know and I'll forward the best ones on.
