Builder Timing Bug? INFLATED - proof....

It is quite annoying that it is STILL happening.

I have a Tesla that will finish upgrading in over 2 hours - it will finish after 11PM. I NEVER raid after 11PM.

I always max out at 10PM - 10:30PM, otherwise I know I won't get to sleep at a reasonable hour to function the next day [as my daughter wakes me up nice and early each day...]

So at least 1/2 hr, more likely an hr or more has been mysteriously added to the build time...

I'm not gemming it like I have in the past; which annoys me having a builder sleep. But I'm not gemming when the problem is NOT on my side of the ledger.

Gonna bump this just because it's pretty serious, but unacknowledged as far as I know. Don't know how much that actually helps, considering this thread's been out for months.

if the negative ramifications of it meant I'd be losing money in the end...Yes.

I.e. enough ppl learn about this error and refuse to buy any more gems until it is fixed.

Obvisouly we're nowhere near said tipping point yet by the looks of things.

m loosing quite long hrs on every upgrd build tym I mailed supercell abt this problem n they replied sometym upgrd clock stops n if u get more visits it happens n its minimal lol...loosing hrs on every build tym aint minimal n they said to fix this problem restart the game , wht does that really mean didn't get that.Maybe they want every1 to spend gems from scratch....

Come on supercell...how can you still have not fixed this incessant problem that just about everyone on the forums is complaining about?

when was the last time a moderator or affiliate responded to this issue / thread? I was searching the last several pages and it seems theyve gone silent for quite some time.

Obviously sorting through all of the code to pinpoint the error is no small task..but this thread was originally posted almost 6 months ago...

if it's still adding on 13 minutes of build time per builder per day as was concluded originally, that equals roughly 4 gems. So..can we get a gem pump that generates 4 gems a day for every builder we own? haha.

while i think getting compensated is very unlikely, it sure would help the issue..

I would like to also thank you for being so active on the forum and trying to investigate the issue. I can assure you that our development team receives a lot of pressure not only from the external community, but also from us internally. I genuinely believe that even a lot of more pressure might not be leading to a complete solution to this issue, simply because the team is not sure about the origin of this, and cannot drop their whole work to investigate it completely. However, it is always good to put pressure on us by using the community. The community is a strong factor when it comes to choosing the newest improvements for updates.
However, I also would like to add that the bug-report has not been closed, and small investigations are still being done by our quality assurance guys.

so basically it's taken them six months to come to the conclusion that they arent going to bother fixing the issue because it would be too time consuming and put too much pressure on the team...

this reminds me of when blizzard royally screwed the pooch several weeks ago in the game Diablo 3 in which a patch had a bug which let people exploit the real money auction house for hundreds of thousands of dollars..which led to a class action law suit as well as nearly a week of taking down the servers in order to do an entire player-by-player audit after which they were only able to recover 75% of what was lost. I'm pretty sure no blizzard employee slept for that week. I would consider that being a high pressure situation...having six months to locate the origin of a mathematical error? hah.

Theyve got the money to hire an entire team to investigate this bug if they're so worried that doing so would slow down future patch releases..sorry but I'm just not convinced.

I'm well aware of the very high-pressure game developers are constantly under when working on a game that releases new content frequently, but when real money is involved players tend to have little to no sympathy.

After Playing Diablo 3 since its launch and after causing players to lose money on several isolated instances, I saw the largest gaming company in the world lose millions of dollars in court settlements, get physically raided in its korean headquarters, and lose over half of its player base in less than a year.

Once a game grows to such a substantial level of popularity there is just little to no room for error no matter how much pressure the team is already under.

tbf, the support person I'm speaking to, has been my contact the whole time, and they've been very professional, and has been quite quick to respond to my mail too.
So I have no complaints there.
