Even at a basic level of time descrapancy, we're talking 1hr per day. over the course of a year that's 365hrs, or 15+days...PER BUILDER! Let alone the people who go bed before the builder has finished losing 7+ hours.
Personally I think there should be some form of compensation / good-will gesture because of this MASSIVE problem that affects everyone that's spent less than £10k (those who don't gem everything).
Usually I only find this problem after an update, it seems that the switch the server off, update and it continues from when it was turned off, general gaming I have yet to come across this issue, but with supercell disbanding for two moths due to their holidays we shall see, I am currently in the process of upgrading all my Tesla's from Level 1 to max, and have found I am only upgrading in the morning, so if it spills in to the afternoon, it will prove my theory wrong.
I do however complete an upgrade and get a notification through say half hour later...

Its a known glitch and im sure supercell know about it and are working for a solution right now.
+1, I thought it was like each time the maintenance was on, it pushes the upgrade progress back by one hour or something like that. This is very annoying when you pay the gems to put things into a more manageable/convenient spot but Spuercell just apply this hidden penalty to all of us again. Maybe there is a hidden upgrade penalty applied as well as the loot penalty?
As far as I understand, it is more difficult to add this extra time to the counting clock than keeping it precious. What is wrong with you Supercell? You have got this hidden building penalty, hidden loot penalty, what else?
I start to wonder how ethical/honest is this company with their business.
Fix this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ glitch SuperCell why are you ignoring the issues the players care most about...
