drastically reduced loot for farmers.

I cannot agree with you, I've been playing the game for 3 months now, also TH lvl 8 now, and never had real trouble with people stomping me. Sure I get attacked by maxed out troops every now and then, but its not a regular thing.

2 things:
1. You have to know where to keep ure trophies for the best loot u can steal vs the least loot that can be stolen from you, ( I usually stay around 1150-1300 perfect for me)

2. Never have loot just sitting there, always upgrade stuff to keep ure loot available low, if you know you wont have workers free for another 4 days, then just take it easy, start farming up for the next upgrade a day or two prior.

This has been working for me since I started the game at any TH level.
And get a good base design, make them work for it. at town hall level 8 you should have 3 of each storage, spread them out, so that, worst case scenario, only a storage, MAYBE 2 can be taken. Whenever I attack even if I see someone with 150k gold to be stolen, I always devide that number by the number of storages, once you look at it, if that dude has 3 storages that are spread out, that means 50k per storage, not even nearly worth it, SKIP!

Because the game is orientated around the town hall.

You are in a situation of TH8 vs TH9.

If you choose to go to TH8 early that is to your detriment, did you not read the warning it gives you about loot when upgrading your hall? It is there for a very good reason.

Focusing on ones actual level is inaccurate. Ones level can be heavily inflated due to a variety of reasons. Such as heavy donations, more achievements; upgrading buildings which give no offensive/defensive benefit like mines/collectors/drills; etc.

I have seen a TH6 at lv 100 before. Forcing that TH6 to only fight players at lv 100 without exp inflation would be grossly unfair. Far worse then what you are witnessing right now.

Just take the advice about staying in an appropriate league for your level and manage your resources better and you won't have nearly as many problems.

Perhaps we're just misunderstanding each other. I'm not talking about people with a low THdonating into infinity. I'm talking about those people that throw their TH into a corner because they can't handle crystal or champions and proceed to pummel players with ridiculously inferior villages and still get great rewards by doing so. I'm fine with loosing, loosing to people attacking with lvl 10 champions and all maxed toons is tedious, although id still be fine with it if they weren't taking huge chunks of resources. another alternative, since your so gung-ho about TH equality would be to drastically reduce loot recieved at higher TH levels vs lower since the difference between 6-7-8-9 and what they provide is increasingly drastic.

Upgrading troops/spells or upgrading your heroes provides no xp. For this reason(along with many others) is why lvl isnt a good representation of a players army strength.

Yes you get hammered so what I'm saving up for
Lvl 5 troops amdand I only get attacked by high lvl players on a rare occasion when I get to 2 mill also your only lvl 52 for th lvl 8 you should have maxed out and it comes down to leaugenig you can't handle the league drop trophies like they dif and farm or gem your choice.

I agree,there should be a decrease I'm loot for those high players who attack,I'm quite low level my self.

The loot penalty already protects lower level THs. If someone is one TH level higher than you, they get a 10 % loot penalty, and 2 TH levels higher get a 50 % penalty. When someone one TH level higher than you levels your base and snatches your resources it kind of does hurt, but here's the catch - you can, and probably do the same versus TH7s.

Quite arguably you've upgraded too fast and have weakish defenses for your TH level - STOP upgrading your TH now, and max out all TH 8 defenses, walls and offense. Best advice you can get. The reason you're having such a rough time is that your TH allows TH9s to raid you with relatively little penalty, and your lowish defenses make you look much tastier yet since a decent TH9 can probably beat you with BArch and some spells. A TH10 has a 50 % penalty vs you, so unless you sit with capped storages (which you shouldn't) they can't get more than 150k off you at any given time, which is quite discouraging when looking for bases to attack.

You might also want to drop in trophies (as has been suggested), since you might find a bit less TH9s to hammer your base, and might find some more raidable targets yourself. The game revolves around getting enough resources to progress your base, and the fastest way to do so is usually to attack people one TH lower than yourself, or attacking weak/premmie bases of your own TH level or higher, or finding the odd collector base. Also be sure to max your collectors, because you get around 30-40 % (can't recall the exact number) of the gold needed to max your defenses just from having maxed collectors at TH8.

I am TH 8 myself and level 86

maxed everything but walls and some DE troops. I hardly get raided more than 60%, usually only some snipers get my TH.

I myself am a farmer and search for enemies around 900-1400 cups. And to be honest the loot scaling is horrible. Getting less loot from people with a lower TH is ok, but I would like to have more available loot. Something like 15-20% of storages and 50-80% of mines and drills to be stolen would be nice.
