iTunes gift card

I got a $20 iTunes gift card. How do I use it to buy gems?

1) Click "redeem" on iTunes/App Store
2) Type the code from the back of the card into the appropriate box.
3) Check your account balance to make sure it credited it to your account.
4) Buy the gem package you want from the app.
5) Buy your builders.

iTunes only lets you buy music while app card lets you buy stuff ingame.

I use i-tunes cards all the time and don't have a single song on my ipad. I don't think the type of card makes any difference, other than for marketing.

Fine I'll tell u... U go into ur iTunes/apple id account thingy in iTunes. Change payment to none. That's how u use iTune cards

A 20$ ingame purchase has a tax of 1.34$ .... So the total credit u need is 21.33 for a 20$ gem pack .... U only had 20, so insuficient funds led to credit card charging

Then how come they took 21.33 from the credit card instead of 20 from the gift card and the rest from the credit card?

Wrong. An iTunes card redeems just fine. Its what I use.

Yes it does tax you..... Where the heck do you live? In the US they tax in-app purchases.

If your itunes credit is insufficient, I think the default setting is it will charge your credit card instead. Make sure you double check this when you buy something from itunes or do an IAP again.

I live in the USA but i have nothing to spend it on anymore i don't listen to music (plz line up in an orderly fashion if you want to object) I have 1630 gems, and don't play any games except for HD and COC.

I have purchased enough for builders. Used 2 $20 iTunes cards to purchase two $19.99 gem bags. I have 0.02 left on my account and have no credit card linked to my account. I 38.98 for two bags. No tax

I just got the receipt and it charged me $21.64 (USD)
