level 6 archers = a waste of money?

And those level 6 archers look stylish ;)

I didn't upgrade them til after all my elixer builder upgrades were done. The per unit cost increase is pretty substantial when farming for camps, drills, etc

agreed the stat increase is minimal... so prioritse your upgrades. its a long game and if you intend to play for a long time and max things out then you will upgrade eventually, but intially the extra camp space and the giants upgrades might be more beneficial to current strategy.

Just get level 6 archers. It's a pain but you wont regret it.

Lvl 6 archers allow you easily barching all those mortar 5 bases.

They are absolutely worth the cost.

Most of the lvl6 upgrades are worth it (barb, archer, giants), but I in terms of priority I would upgrade balloons first as a virgin TH9.

The boost between Lvl5 and Lvl6 is the biggest for balloons of all those units, and then it allows you to do the balloon-minion attack strategy if you so desire.

Not a waste of money, but not something I prioritized early TH9.

With Army Camps, Drills and other troops to upgrade I held them back. First two I did were Giants & Balloons as they got the best stat boosts.

I feel giants and loons are more important. But that's just me. I use giants when farming for DE, and I do that a lot. I like barching, but gets boring.

Definitely not a waste of elixr, i did them 4th, after giants, loons, and barbs, and the reason they are worth it is because it takes a lv 6 wiz tower 2 shots to kill them. They do really well against th8 because of this and lots of th9 also have lv 6 wiz tower
