You really just got lucky it was a noob. Any skilled clasher would have lured you cc and murdered them then wiped you out.. :) No skill involved in this "defense"

You placed the cc in the center? Thats basic 101 placement.. Plus you got a noob who just dropped all his troops and they were murdered. Any half skilled attacker would have just killed your cc troops and wiped out your base..
