More events
There aren't many events that can change and continually go on. I'll try to go into detail on a lot of these events.
Apocalypse
The four horseman of the apocalypse are going to destroy your village if you can't stop them. Just so you know what they are, they are famine, war, pestilence, and death. During famine the villagers get thinner and your collectors collect less. During war goblin tribes attack you. During pestilence your troops start to die from plagues. During Death troops die more often and graves randomly appear on the ground. Four villages will appear on the map, if you defeat one of them during its phase you get a bonus. The Phase ends when you defeat the village and the next village is unlocked. Each phase lasts a week if you don't destroy the village. If you destroy all villages you get a huge bonus.
Time machine
People from 100 A.D. start going through a time machine. You must defeat the waves of militia even though they have better technology. Once you defeat the military a new trap is unlocked... the caltrop. Caltrops are normally used against horses but they will be against hog riders. The caltrop will kill the hog practically making the hog rider a guy with a hammer. The caltrops will do damage to normal troops. They will take three hits before being disarmed.
Pirates
Pirates begin looting your village so you must defeat their pirates and use their ships. You go to their island village and destroy it completely to make them stop.
Goblin attacks
I posted this early. Goblins will attack your base every other day with larger and larger armies.
Dark spawn
A pool of dark elixir is spotted next to your base. The monsters become more and more advanced (from slime blob attacks to organized dark blobby troops resembling barbarians attacks). This will go on for seven days.
Demon rift
A portal to hell is opened and demons attack your base.
Witch attacks
Witches curse your base and begin to attack you.
