Idea: Save your basedesign for easy swap between trophy hunting & farming.

One of the things I like doing in this game is trophy hunting. My clan does it and I guess that most clans do trophy pushes once in a while. It's a nice method to check how good you are and it increases activity.
Being a lazy guy like me, I hate having to change my base design between farming, trophy hunting, de protection, anti-hog, and so on.. And so on.. And so on..

What I would love to see in the fantastic new village edit mode is an option to save a specific base layout, so that you can have for example two preset bases that you can swap between with the click of a button, making it easy to swap between th-outside gold farming and th-inside trophy hunting. Or simply two different trophy hunting bases, different farming setups or whatever you want. This would save, at least me, alot of time and frustration when I feel like pushing up a couple of leauges to see what thats like.

What does the rest of you think?

I think this is a wonderful idea i was personally thinking that myself a while ago. My clan and i do alternating hunting and farming seasons and every time i need to change up my base and this would be incredibly useful.

Saved layouts has been suggested many times before, I would love to see the idea but make sure before posting any new threads to make sure that you search it in the search function to see if it has posted before! Thanks, and Clash on!

I agree totally! This is a really good idea for me too because, like you, I need to switch my farming base to trophy hunting for my clan's summer push... Only one error I came across, which is this.
If you create a (for example) level 5 base design, save it, then build another building, then the base design you just saved can no longer be valid because it doesn't include the new building... :)
I brainstormed a possible work-around for this that SC could consider if they want to put this into their game:
1. When you hit the button to change your base design to one that you saved before, it re-arranges all of the buildings like they were in the saved base design. The new buildings that you didn't have when you created and saved the base design will be placed into your inventory of buildings at the bottom of your screen. It's sorta hard to understand when I say it, but hopefully you get it! All in all, a fantastic idea to have saved based designs!!! :D
