Hey guys,
I have a fully maxed TH9, including troops, currently upgrading to TH10.
I'm in Crystal 1 and I only raid say 3 times per day.
I'm looking for a good strategy that 2-3 stars consistently.
I was using 32 hogs, 30 barbarians, 30 archers, 3 heals and 1 lightning. This is beginning to fail and I'm getting tired of it.
Any ideas? Videos?

level three drags + rages. Works perfectly if you can only raid 2-3 times a day.

Sorry the truth hurts. Your misleading information isn't answering the OP's question either. Simple; isn't going to happen. Also OP, hogs won't wreck your base without infernos with a proper setup. Offense wins you trophies, not defense. Let's be a little sensible here peoples.Quote:

For those that didn't even bother to read my post, it says I'm currently upgrading to TH10 with a max TH9. So no, I don't pretend to make it to champion on TH9.
Anyway, back on topic, the way to go is level 4 dragons and rage?

Its not possible with 3 raids a day with 2 stars as well, i am assuming 3 raids not continuously as well and more casual.
Hogs are a toast beyond 2800 (one can get lucky once in a while but mostly fails)
Math :
Assuming all bases are 24+ cups, for 2 stars you get 15-16
Attack Raid 1 : 2 star : cups 15
Logoff
Defence lose : lose 27
Net gain : - 12
Raid 2 : 2 star : Cups 15
Loggoff
Defence lose : lose 18
Net gain: -15
Raid 3 : 3 stars : 30
logoff
Defence lose : 27
Net gain: -18
I have assumed you dont lose any attacks at all and you get 2 stars for every attack.
I have picked up numbers randomly, you can do your actuals, eventually you will lose more than you gain.
Balloons plus minions might be able to help you, but it could 1 star at most of time.
Try 20 balloons plus 70 Level 6 minions or 24 balloons plus 60 minions when you upgraded to town hall 10. Heal spell and range spell also needed, 2-3 spells for each battle.
3 battles per day really tough for going up champion league. Ruthless post some youtube videos called Champion Leauge on Budget. You could take of look what is his strategy for balloonion attack. Good luck!
