How do people get away with multiple accounts?

Considering you seemed to have not read your thread in its entirety, or possibly just dismissed the relevant points in the replies, and at risk of repeating myself or what others have already said in this thread, I will ask a few questions rather than giving my opinion.

Have you ever heard of a generalized term? A term that is written in a way as to cover numerous possible situations. A single term that removes the need for detailing, in writing, these numerous possible situations. Do you think that SC's ToS is possibly written in this manner?
Is this not SC's product? Does SC not have the right to enforce their ToS as they see fit? Do you feel that the player base has a right to enforce SC's ToS?

That covers the ToS, so I will move on.

If my wife, daughter and myself all have accounts that are played through the same IP address, do we deserve to have all three accounts banned?

Why does this bother you so much, and how exactly is it affecting you?

Are you compiling a list of those who mention alternate accounts so you can report them? Seems that's what your asking in your OP.

If so, why? Is it really any of your business?

Your info is incorrect... C.... P.t use a program called air server which reflects whatever is on his iDevices screen onto his computer screen but he is still playing on said iDevice. Now if we were talking about a son of god (Hopefully you know who I'm talking about) then yes he was playing on a PC

Nobody has multiple accounts.

It's their mom/dad/son/daughter/brother/sister's account that they are looking after when the owner has to go to the bathroom break.

Coincidentally, all the owners of these accounts decided to go to the washroom and have their son/daughter/dad/mon/brother/sister look after their accounts for a while whenever there's a youtube video shoot.

So yea, nobody has multiple accounts.

@OP: why do do you care, how many villages other players want to play ?
it doesn't concern you in the slightest.
It's up to the other players and maybe supercell, in those countries where those TOS are valid at all.
Get a life.

How are you playing through the same IP address? That would hinder your performance for sure.


I do not like it when people purposely disobey rules. It is against the terms of service to have more than one account.


Do you care if people exploit the game to gain more gems by not following the rules? Do you care if top players exploit the game to gain cheap shields?

^^^^^ This. Although they could go as far as banning all a players accounts.

The TOS is a set of conditions which SC set out for the protection of themselves and the player base. They can choose to invoke a clause at any time if they believe it would be appropriate. If players have more than one account, but are playing them fairly, SC really will not care. They have more important things to do.

If on different device then it's not even breaching ToS so that how ppl who are more public about it get away with it

There aren't any, and SC knows that. That is one of the reasons why they do not enforce their TOS.

Look through all the postings that I made and you may find the one's that are relevant in this matter.

What makes you think that people downloading COC in foreign countries actually can speak english ?
The game is in many languages, the TOS are not.
Which is the sole reason why there are no valid TOS for Clash of Clans in Germany, for example.

If you need me to explain to you the legal side of this, I would charge you an hour of my time, though.
I have explained it several times in this forum, you can just read all my postings and surely you will find the relevant one.

Now if those TOS are valid in your country and you are not allowed to play more than one account, bad for you.
Us Germans, we can have as many accounts as we want and are perfectly on the fair and legal side of things.

If SC were to even now make valid TOS for Germans and try to enforce those it would mean every German who ever bought gems so far in the German Appstore at a time when there where not German TOS, could just sue Apple to get back all his money. And German customers love to sue .g.

This things is far more complex (and yet so easy) that just screaming "There are those TOS in eglish, all COC players in the whole world must follow them".
This is not the case.

OP, why do you even think that clause exists in the first place?

To stop people who bought both a tablet and a phone from having too much fun playing on their mini account after being bored with the bad loot at higher THs, or to stop people from trying to cheap shield themselves, e.g. to discourage häcking/cheäting?

Think really hard about that, then post back. People have aready made it quite clear why multiple accounts is not hurtful towards the game if used for legit playing. The wording of the clause has been explained as well, it's starting to look like you're really just trying to push your point and ignore the logical and sensible explanations people are providing.

I'm pretty sure this isn't the reason why this specific clause of the TOS is not enforced. I'm also quite sure that you will get your account banned if you keep harassing people ingame (I'm talking serious racial/personal/etc offending here) and they screenshot of your posts and email them to SC support.
