TH7 Defense >?

So im a new TH7, i have most of the new building built and upgraded a few levels already. I like to get new items on the same level as my existing items before beginning my TH7 new available upgrades. Im trying to take advantage of the additional walls and rebuild my TH6 base to better defend my resources for farming at TH7.

To start i usually go CC centered will the 2 highest priority storages in the same pockets or centered as well. Then use the other 2 resource storages more as meat shields for defenses. Then usually build of that until I'm happy. Now that most my defenses are even in #s i can make things more even. At my TH whats more important. Centered Air or Splash(mortar)?
