Eight diamonds. It costs me 8 diamonds to add pancakes to the queue because I didn't have eggs. I didn't even get them right away, I still had to wait for them to be made.
Did I want to waste 8 diamonds to "start the action"? Heck no.
Do I have the double tap diamond confirmation enabled? Yes.

Yes. It was a mistake. I never would have used that many diamonds just because I didn't have eggs.
I had the diamond confirmation enabled. Apparently it doesn't work when you get a dialog popup asking to "start the action".
I believe he's just telling us how much 3 eggs are "worth" in diamonds when trying to create pancakes...
and, yeah, it's a lot of diamonds for something that isn't done immediately...
edit: Yeah... sometimes, I wonder why some of these cost so much diamonds...
Some actions still cost diamonds. You get asked if you want to buy the missing items (with diamonds) and a click on yes will do just that: put things in queue in exchange for diamonds

I once dropped 50 diamonds on a snowglobe 2 weeks after Christmas...and countless others in random places... In other words, I feel your pain!!
Yes, but they added a diamond confirmation feature in some places and not in others. I understand if you want to rush a job, you pay. I'm not complaining about how absurdly expensive three eggs cost.
I accidentally used the diamonds even though I have the double tap confirmation enabled.
A few days ago I accidentally wasted 5 diamonds to get the boat to come right away.
My point is that the diamond confirmation doesn't always work.
In some cases the big pop-up *IS* the confirmation. Asking you if you want to call the boat in early etc. all over your screen/display. Before the diamond confirmation many people lost diamonds by accidentaly hitting the speed up button etc. There was no big pop up. That they have changed and I'm glad.
Yes, this is right. There is a thread explaining this (probably already buried under the recent threads). If there is an action that triggers the pop up, that is your confirmation. In OP's case, sliding pancake into queue without eggs triggered the pop up "Not Enough Resources" and unfortunately OP confirmed by clicking again on the button "8diamonds to start action." If this happens to anyone else, click instead on the X or outside of the pop up to close the pop up so you do not confirm the action.Quote:
