Hey guys. What should I buy: jam maker or jewelry stand?
Jam maker: easy to get raw resources like berries... Long production time..
Jewelry stand: my question: jewelry made out of bars or ores? Medium production time?
What is your advice?
Perhaps we can keep this thread open for everyone like the boat help threads so we can give eachother help on purchasing items :)

I bought mine in the order they were allowed by the level I had: first the jam maker and then the jewelry. If I had to go back in time I would do the same, in my opinion.
Jam maker - you often get boat requests for jam or truck deliveries. It is true it takes a long time to make the jam, but you often get requests for that. And, as you pointed out, the ingredients are easy to find.
Jewelry stand - you use metal bars and the production time is medium. You also get truck delivery requests for jewelry items that reward you with money, experience points and vouchers.
I believe it is a matter of your own choice :)

I'd say jam machine, definitely more use for that than the jewellery machine. Yes jam takes longer, but so does the smelter to make metal. Jam also helps with boat and truck orders too. I hardly use my jeweller now...have to keep deleting truck orders to get a metal or jewellery order....and all for a green voucher most of the time!

I'd go for the jam maker-as the poster above me said vouchers from jewelry truck orders are very random, it's almost better to have the jam for boat orders, or to sell for quick coin.
Thanks for the replies so far! I think Im going for the jam maker as the stand requires help from the smelter as well (all accumilated = a lot of time)..
And there's not a big difference between the prices of jam and jewelry :)

Personally I would go with the jam maker. It's pretty easy to keep that machine running with the long production times and you can also start working on the mastery for that one for the 15 % reduction in production time when you get the 3rd star.
Bracelets and necklaces don't take that long to make but you need the metal bars to make those and it's the metal bars that take the time to make. The jeweler will be idle on the farm most of the time. If it's the vouchers for that you want you can try buying the items when you see them although you don't see them that often.Quote:
