Barbarian king worth?

I recently got my TH7, and ive been spamming Lightning spells on DE storages for a time now trying to get a barb king. But im starting to wonder, are they really Worth it? Their Stats doesnt seem to good, is there anyone that has one and can tell me if they are truly Worth the 10k DE?

They are worth it once they get to high levels

They are well worth it. It's an extra troop basically. Really strong and he will only get stronger as he levels up.

Yes in the long run the king is totally worth it, mine can destroy any defense in 1 or 2 hits. At th7 it would be nice to have him, but I wouldn't worry if you didn't get him until th 8.

Stop spamming those lightning strikes, do some forum searches and find some DE farming guides for TH7 or TH8 (they are largely the same). If you just zap all the time you will accumulate DE at a sucky rate, ♥♥♥♥ off lots of people ( = lots of revenges) and you probably will have trouble leveling up your heroes further.

There are plenty of guides out and about, spend an hour or something learning what to do and you'll get that DE so much faster and look like less of a d-bag. People who tell you that you have to zap as TH7 to get your BK are just plain clueless, and will probably have their hero(es) at quite a low level compared to people who actually raid for DE.

And yes, heroes are worth it. While 10k DE might seem like plenty, that's nothing compared to what future updates (or AQ, for that matter) will cost. Read up, buck up, and start raiding ;) good luck.

The easy way might gain you some immediate results in the long run you're not learning how to farm properly. It's also bad form and will get you some karma once you level up.
I never had a problem farming DE at TH7 and it's downright easy at TH8.
Are heroes worth it? With the current boost for 1 gem I can make a BAM army and have the BK ready for the next battle in 16 mins. I haven't lost one attack yet.... yea, they're worth it.
