Hi my IGN is RockyJoeHawkins, I am the leader of the clan Coc Strike. I have been playing Coc for a little over a month, I have personally spent over $350.00 in this game through Google Play Store. That may seem like I've over done it, I am curious of how much other people have spent and how long they have been playing.

At most about $40 total, but I've been playing for over a year now. I spent most of that money getting my 4th and 5th builders.

15 about to be 65 but from gift cards so really i have spent 0. Also been playing for over 3 months.

Spent £13.99 to buy 2500 gems which I used on builders. It wasnt very easy to get the gems you need for builders through achievements when i first started playing. Not spent anything since.
Now have 4665 gems from bushes and achievements.
I have a near maxed TH10 excluding walls - only 12 upgrades left
245 L10 Walls
5 L11 Walls
And I have hit champions league...
Dont listen to players that tell you you need to spend money to progress...little bit of determination and a solid clan and you can crack every single milestone in this game...Some people have already done their L11 walls! ;)
$30 for builders early on, been playing since game launch august 2012. Farmed everything.

I reckon ive spent around Aus$ 90-120....i first bought all 5 builders,then i gemmed my BK cause i was too excited to wait for it lol.And then 10$ and 20$ ITUNES cards every month or so just for boosting and other things like finishing a building with an hour to go so i could start another and get some sleep.So yeah all up about 120 give or take.I dont think it really matters how much you spend as long as you can afford it (without taking money from other things like bills) and you dont gem so much that you arent even learning how to raid efficiently and becoming experienced in the AI and such.All in all though,its your game and your life and you do as you please.Some people like to earn things by hard work and others prefer quick gratification,whatever floats your boat really

So thought of the $30 as a way to thank the dev plus getting the fifth builder.

Iv'e spent about 50€, played since May 2013, recent th10 (maxed th9 excluding walls (85 lv9 walls, rest lv8). Bought the builders and sometimes buy some hours from builders to not need to wait until night or when storages are full and I still want to play. Not trophy pushed yet

14 months, and probably about 140 bucks.
I've played for about 16 months or so, maybe longer. I believe I've spent about $500-$600. For the first 10-12 months I played I had spent a total of $25, once I hit TH10 and Master League though (and I won some money in fantasy sports leagues) I spent big, gunning for Champion League soon.
And I'm completely happy with spending that amount considering how much I play the game (added to the fact that a PS4 game costs me $65 these days).

Notice the trend with this type of question, none of members that actually support this game with regular purchases will post how much they spend...but Supercell generated $892 million in revenue in 2013 with only two game titles. Because of the stigma of being a "Gemmer", no one will ever tell the truth.:rolleyes:

Im a TH9 now in Master 2 and i don't like to buy gems much since my TH upgrade (occasionally for boosting which is like 20-50 dollars a month).
But hey, gems are a part of the game and i don't frown upon it, just don't wanna do it anymore;).

Played few months not gemming a thing. When i started to have real fun with this game, and this hasn't happened since halo 1 i kept buying gems until i reached the apparent limit for that day. Great game and i hope my contribution helped a little.

Proud of it. indipendant developers should make money off solid games, wich this is. Dunno why some people are so cheap. get a job. supporting developers like this is not a bad thing at all.
Been playing since December. But I'm starting to realize that the game is rigged so that you end up wanting to spend to get ahead. It's starting to seem like a money spending scheme. I've spent 10$ or 20$, can't recollect. That's all I'm gonna spend. I'm about to delete the game all together. I can't get over the 1250 trophy hump. I gain 20 or so trophies and then lose 30 or 40 from attacking or my defense is weaker than my opponents offense. Gonna be over this game in a month or so. It lags bigtime. Too much time to wait for gain progress. Supercell is gonna lose plenty of gamers who will see that spending money is the only way you'll get ahead. It's gonna end up being one of those lame games. I take one step forward and then end up taking four steps back. For example: I win 22 trophies from attacking and then exit the game. Return to find I lost 19. Then I attack to make up the lose and end up losing 26 trophies. So I lose big time. I've been in the 950-1100 trophy tier for a month now and it's discouraging. Anyone can swoop in and take your prize away. ♥♥♥♥!!
7 months, about to max TH8 (including walls and BK), haven't spent a dime. Not about being cheap, just like to play games totally legit, no shortcuts. Personal choice

johnblaze i would look up attack strategies and base planning and check it out. cause their is certainly no reason you need to spend a dime to hit 1250 trophies. thats really not that high up.

Ok so guys Gems are worth Diff amounts of $ depending on which package you buy.
500 gems costs $4.99 USD , so thats about a .01 a Gem (basically 100 percent per gem)
well if we buy the $99.99 for a Chest of Gems you get 14,000 Gems!
$99.99 / 14,000 Gems = .00714214 cents per gem. ( basically 71% per gem!!) 29% savings over 500 gem package!!
ok so theres that savings.
Now if you go to a Sams club and buy a Itunes $100 gift card its only costs $94.50 at Sams. So there is a $5.50 savings!
So All in All you get about $20 in free gems using this method, instead of buying a few when you need them.
And finally to answer your question.

I spend 18 euro on CoC ( 2500 gem pack ), and bought my 4th and 5th builder.
It was really worth it but i will not spend any more moni. Btw i'm playing CoC for 6 months atm.
Since september 2012, 10$ combined for 2 accts, and all from gift cards
I have spent close to 120 in giftcards. Maybe 15 dollars of that was actually money
