My idea is pretty simple. I'd like to see some way of choosing/filtering global chat so that kids and adults can choose to separate from adult conversation or kids. For instance, select either a minor (kids) global chat, or an adult global chat.
I'm trying to eliminate the kids in global chat when attempting to search for adult members to join a new clan. It could be a lot of work for something seen so trivial, but it would separate the men from the boys, so to speak, and allow for us adults to experience a different type of game play instead of being called all the names under the sun, and bring some adults back to the game who have lost interest because of this issue.
Perhaps have a tick box in the settings to enable 'Adult Global chat'? I could be looking at this the wrong way, although my general idea is to have the option to split the kids from the adults, or not, for those that wish to play with kids.
I suppose some questions to consider would be:
1) How can we differentiate between kids and adults?
2) Where would this feature? Would it overrule the existing global chat and replace with an adult chat when chosen?
3) Would kids have the option to be able to access this chat?
4) Is this a lot of work for something that isn't necessarily top priority?
5) Would this introduce a new type of game play for the older game players?
6) Would this enhance the reputation of CoC?
Just a few things to consider I suspect.
