Before I state my idea I know that I don't have the Town Hall for Dark Elixir (will in four days), but from reading the forums I see a common complaint about Lightning Spells and Dark Elixir. Also I looked in the ejected ideas post and didn't see this idea.
What if instead of Lightning Spells taking Dark Elixir when it hits the storage, it takes Elixir? The thought behind it is Lightning in the real world changes somethings when it strikes, it does always destroy.
worst. idea. ever. no offense man but if we cant get dark elixir with lightning spells, I wouldn't be able to get dark elixir for barb king

on the idea side of the post, although its true and it goes along with real life physics that lightening changes things, the gameplay is fantasy and i doubt this will ever be implemented. i like the thought process and believe me i do know how annoying getting lightening'ed is but gotta deal with it.

Simple but interesting idea i don't see anything OP.But how about if this power of the spell works from 3 level?

I undergo many attacks with lightning but I'm not complaining
I prefer a healthy vengeance to complain
and then if the game allows it, you can do it ....
I never took de lightning prefer to catch them with the troops, especially for measuring my competitiveness
I honestly do not believe that lightning DE is a horrible thing, Usually it will be someone lower than you anyways so when someone does it you 3 star them in revenge :) Same for TH sniping you revenge them.
The conversion rate corresponding with level of the spell is a good idea, but not for the idea I am suggesting. There would be no change to the current damage dealt or loot taken with a Lightning Spell. The only change would be Dark Elixir is converted to Elixir when hit by Lightning.Quote:
