Move onto TH 9?

I am tired of getting stomped by th 9's. The only defense upgrades I have left are Archer towers. I have lighting, heal, rage, hogs level 1, dragons, pekkas, valkeries, and golems (if you can, haven't unlocked yet) to work on in my lab. The loot penalty isn't a huge difference, and I have around 60 skull walls done. Should I move on?

my def is much lower than yours and I'm doing fine, I've been a month in TH9 and farmed over 50% lego walls.

just make sure you have more than 40K DE and full elixirs once you arrive on TH9
get AQ, Lab and SF as you arrive and the next priority should be maxing all the camps then all your storages...

you're right... screw those loot penalty, you won't find much TH7 on 1600+
loot is even better once you have all camps maxed, because you'll able to raid stronger people with bigger loot.

anyone said you will loose more on TH9 is either lying to you or they don't know
on TH8 you loose 275K gold everytime those giants lv.6 visits you right? well... they no longer can take that amount anymore because when you have 4 storages, it's very hard to raid unless you put them all together in the middle.

welcome to TH9 my friend, there is a lot of enjoyment here... AQ is fun, she won't die as much as BK and you'll able to use her more frequently

Thanks for the detailed reply :) I was wondering what I should upgrade first in my lab when I get to th 9. Giants? Archers? Barbs?

It depends on your play style... I do barb and and archers first because I never use Giants before...

but if you use Giants, you should upgrade them first because they gain much more powers. I think when you're on TH8, you're mostly destroyed by them so you should know their powers rite?

No mistake is so grave that you cannot catch up on, unless it's a very premiee TH10... If you are active enough, you will do fine in TH9; if you are not active, it doesn't really matter isn't it? Cheers

I'd say ur probably fine. Maybe max out a few more things and get ur walls to half 8 first

yeah, TH10 is very different story...

TH9 still can raids TH8 even with light army... because they just have 3 storages.
so we can easily catch up, because we still can save much

but on TH10, we're forced to use more heavyweigth army to raid 4 storages of TH9 and TH10 guys as TH8 will have loot penalty. We save less and It will be hard to catch up.
