fresh th7, DE farming strategies/tips?

What trophy range is best? I dropped to around 975 solely farming DE (nothing like getting to their storage, only to find all of their DE is in their drill -__________- ) and that seems about as bad as 1100. Last night I spent over 60,000 gold hitting next in one session, none was available. I'm trying to save up for the BK, currently 15% there.

With the boost to spells coming, would zapping the storages with hundreds of available DE be viable, or a douchebag move that will result in being zeroed by ♥♥♥♥♥♥ off clashers?

Snipe town halls until you get to gold 3 or 2 (1400-1700)then start dropping 3 lightning spells. I did this and I got my barb king in less than 5 hours. Good luck.

PS: no I didn't play 5 hours straight.

PSS: at this cup range sometimes you will see TH10s with full drills, just drop a single spell on each and you should get around 1000DE. On average you will probably end up with 300-500 per raid.

Im also TH7 and let me tell ya...... getting DE is a b***h. i get mine from people who are inactive Th9 and Th10 where they have like 600k elixer and gold just in the pump and mines.... they will most likely have a lot of DE in their DE drill. so look for inactive people

Just make sure you have plenty of gold because you will be pressing "next" a lot.

^ lol. Assuming you have 200 army... bring 100 archers, 80 barbs and rest wbs. You should be able to handle any TH in the corner, tesla or not. I'd say 95% are just that, exposed and not protected. Most instances you will use couple archers and preserve army for next raid.

You asked for advice, I provided the strategy that worked wonderfully for me, you don't have to take or be sarcastic about it. :confused:

Do a trophy push up to the crystals. Then snipe Townhalls. After a while you'll have full DE storage. There isn't a "fast" way to get DE in townhall 7

You should probably be in gold 2 or higher to consistently find good DE. I think barch is the best way to farm, however as a th7 barching for de you will most likely be limited to exposed drills, storages in first (maybe second) layer of the base, and zapping core storages. With boost you can probably zap your way to 10,000 in a day by hitting those with 1500+ available. And yes you will most likely be getting 3-starred on revenge within minutes of logging off if you choose to go the lightning route.

In all seriousness, though, you should probably push to high gold/low crystal and use a couple giants wallbys gobs and archers.

^exactly (negradomus), I mostly sniped THs and I had a full army 100 archers, 80 barbs and some wbs just in case the base had plenty of loot available once I took care of the TH.

Also, what's with the de storages? I could have sworn I took about half HP from a container, got none of the de from it, there was no drill? Does the available de only transfer to you when you zero the container, unlike gold and elixir containers?

I would more worry about gaining access to the DE than picking off town halls. If you go in for a snipe and teslas pop up, no biggie just use your troops for the DE and lose the trophies; you can gain them back later. More often than not exposed THs are trap free. Getting high enough in trophies is the easy part.

Spell th8-9 and they will 100% u back.... Th10s wont get any back though

That's perfectly fine..I have my barb kind and my base has always low resources since I drop gold on walls. And I definitely don't care about cups at this point. Most likely I will go back down again to 1200 to upgrade walls and a dew troops before I come back to farm DE for other stuff.

Man what a grind. Just tagged a premmie th7 for a whopping 4 de, didn't use giants tho :p

Plus, if you're in a nice long, spell-boosted farming session, one revenge and its shield will only be a fraction of what you got overall. :cool:

Yeah, if a storage isn't full, you don't get good loot per hit until you reach the second half of it's hitpoints, I don't know the exact equations though.

Just get to 1700-1800, a friend of mine in my clan said a lot of people are stupid with storage and drill placement. He recently dropped down when he forgot what farming was and I showed a replay haha.

If what I've read elsewhere is correct, its probably because abandoned accounts tend to reach equilibrium at around 1600, meaning there is tons of collector farming to be had.

Hmm, maybe I will make the climb. Not much else to do, takes a couple hours to farm max gold/elixir, and days to use said stuff.

I'm town hall 7 to, yesterday I had between 2500 and 3000 DE. Now with the spell factory boost I have zapped 15 or even 20 or more, not sure and I'm now at 6716 DE. I just townhall snipe en then zap between 1400 and 1500, there is so much loot there, good luck!
