Good luck its tough
Sorry we are full again we weren't when I posted
Cause I premmied I am getting really bored of th8 its taken almos 9 months to consolidate to get to this lvl I reckon a month to go maybe 2 but not farming this season so you could push that back a bit but just found out from Sunday another month without reliable internet its painful hence my trapping theories
Yes punctuation is a wonderful thing but when you are used to a 50 character limit a luxury you can ill afford while having limited time. Bad habits sink in quickly.
At the point of those attacks I was hoarding 18000 de. Which is as you know is a tempting resource. All of it spent on hogs now. Raised another 7000 since and kept it.
5 wall upgrades to go then back to defences. So when I have a couple of million in the bank I will let you know the results and I am trying to be constructive for the opening poster where are your sensible, objective and constructive suggestions other than get flattened or join us.
Hi there! OP yes, I believe you can defend against a L6 army at TH8. But you will have to wait until your defences are a bit better, they're still at TH7 lvl by the looks of it....
I agree, only upgrade two defencive buildings at a time and never the same kind simultaneously;
also agree that teslas are best...but only at L6, that's a long way away.
My immediate advice is:
1) Upgrades
Build those extra storages to lvl3, use them as tanks, you'll not loose any resources worth mentioning if they're taken out. Concentrate your def upgrades on mortar and tesla until they're maxed, then get work on WT and AD.
2) Resources
Dump excess gold into walls, that will at least keep attackers away until you can defend better. Max out your collectors now and empty them as often as possible during the day, that'll reduce losses due to BArch.
3) Base
To repell a L6 army you'll want a good lay out with good funneling, trapping and maybe teasing. It can be done. An experienced attacker will still get you, but there's many out there that won't. Look for a base design to adopt or
tinker with your own lay out. Your current one I think could do with a little regrouping. I believe your AD is too close to the outer perimeter. Place your upgrades outside to lure giants away from intended path and place your traps so they'll take out many troops and early during the attack, but they should not be easily triggered by single units.
Good Luck!
