gifting gems (NOT RULE OUT)

There must be an option to gift gems. This idea of mine isn't ruled out because I propose that the gifting acts in the same way as when people buy gems for themselves. THE GIFTED GEMS DON'T COME FROM THE GIFTER'S GEM BALANCE!!! ​The only difference is that this gem purchase goes into their account. Firstly, this would be perfect for special occasions that involve gifts like x-mas and birthdays. Secondly, Supercell would make much more money through the sales of these gifts. Finaly, the players have an easy, and convenient way to celebrate their friend's birthday instead of having to go to store to purchase a gift.

So, are you suggesting a gift card or something? Because if you just bought gems and there was an option to send them to a player you couldn't do that because a lot of players have the same name.

Yes however, are those players with the same name also on the same clan? The clan could also be used as a filter when searching for a friend to gift to.

It isn't much different to buying a friend or whoever an iTunes card though right?

Just buy them an iTunes card if they are a clash addict, they will invest it into clash for sure.

iTunes cards aren't international.
e.g. You can't use a UK card in the US

i like this idea

I like the idea too. Not necessarily just for sending gems to friends but it would also be a good tool for clan leaders to reward thier loyal members. Like as a promotional gift, this would drive a lot of clanmates to stay active and donate more if they knew they would recieve gems as a reward!

Just today! Join some clan for just 10 gems fee...

Fantastic idea! I use this game to teach real-life qualities to my kids. Kids should learn to give away, just like how they receive gifts from us. Very good idea indeed.
