I am doing pretty good at around 1400 trophies
1000-1300 is great, alot of easy pickings, but has zero DE. Above 1300 has more th8 and 9s, raids might be tougher. DE is abundant above 1600, but bases may be too strong for th7 troops. If youre only after gold and a bit of DE i would suggest staying within 1200-1400
When i was townhall 7 i found the most loot at 1200-1400.
