A nice incentive for champion to break their shield
Dear all,
*** introduction, champion player should skip to suggestion ***
i am playing in champion's league for 3 weeks now, currently at 3712 cup, French clan : TT flingueurs, ign : *-Arnaud-*
I am facing the upper champion trouble .
95 % of the village offered by match making are in master I and master II offering a uncommitting 1/-39 cup balance.
The game play here is quite simple, you train your army, load your spell, revive your heros, queue next army, sit comfortably on your chair and watch a beautifull magnifier rounding in 8 while you keep nexting 1/-39 Unfair challenge until an unfortunate champion has been expelled after his 6 hours consecutive game.
you attack him, rip some of his cup (most of the time because defense won is a miracle), offer him a 12 to 16 hours shield.
at the end of your 6 hours constant attack time it is your turn to offer cups to a lucky nexter.
after the 6 hours if you have been lucky enough you gain slightly more cup than you loose on defense and progress on the league.
which means most (almost every) champion play 6 hours and remain 12 hours on shield ... Offering their village for a challenge once every 18 to 22 hours.
only 0,02 % of the player are in champion's league (reddit interview) so very few champion are available at a time.
*** suggestion ***
in order to help champion break their shield and be available more frequently for match making I suggest 2 very simple solutions.
1 - eh dude, your are a champion now, whatever the elo system comes with ... Let's say you can't bet less than 10 cup.
that way a skilled champion will gain at least 6 cups on your village (2 stars) ... And the amount you loose in a defense can be recovered in 2 to 3 attack of champion.
2 - because it is easier to recover cup ... Let's reduce maximum consecutive play to 4 hours before a compulsory pause.
together this 2 simple modifications, will be a strong incentive to break shield and will seriously increase the odd of match making with a champion ... Isn't it much more fair than devastating farming masters for one cup ?
