Valkerie farming

Any one used it?
any success besides me?

I use 2 valkyries in my farming army similar to yours.
Since I carry 2 lightning spells usually, I can save the lightning spells on destroying one mortar, and the valkyries will be kept to deal with castle troops that I couldn't lure out.
The Hp buff for them made them really tanky, and I have seen them damage 2 buildings at once.

Edit: my valks are level 4, they're great as support troops

It won't do. I have used valkyries for farming. For pushing. For whatever. Thing is, their awesomeness is grossly offset by their cost both in time and dark elixirs. Whatever you can do with valks, you can do without as well, so there is very few reasons to use them (if any).

The only way you can optimize their splash is to drop them between buildings outside the walls perimeter, hopefully collectors of some sort. After they trash the first few buildings, they will continue the way barbarian ai does. Always positioning themselves to the nearest edge of their target buildings, instead of in-between buildings thus negating their own splash advantage.

^ I agree with this post, the splash on buildings occurs rarely after the initial deployment.
I only used them because I am swimming in DE, and getting bored of the conventional farming armies. Also helps with decreasing troop training time (by a few minutes) if you only use 2 of them :p

I've used Valkyries but as previously stated their training time is way too long + they cost de. Their special ability is pretty useless they are positioned perfectly. Higher level valks, which few clasher have, do work decently though.

Works for me tho

I've used several Valkyrie combos


She excells at dealing with CC troops but the DE cost is very off putting for me. I like her allot to, but 480 DE for a troop to just deal with CC while farming can really slow down DE farming (I have maxed level Valks)

But they are strong and powerful. SC just needs to lower there training time/cost to make them viable.

Of course it works. Anything that hit the nail works. Yet, is that the best thing for you ? That is the question.

As you can see yourself, even your valkyrie farming army consists primarily of giants and breakers. The valkyries are no more than outlets. Only 12% (3 Valkyries) of your army is valkyrie. Can you do better or worse without them ? Are they even an essential part of your combo ?

Yes level 1 valks got 150 hp bonus since the update

Why would you spend close to 200k DE to max a troop that you feel isn't very adequate to farm with given it's high DE per troop? If you simply gemmed it, then why do you care about losing a few hundred DE on farming here and there? Or do you use a valk for trophy pushing? Just curious...
