Earlier i made a thread about doing elix for walls. And some commented that elix is for offence and gold for defence. Ok i understand that.
But why does searching cost gold when your'e going to attack?
It would have been better then to make elix for searching. Or make a Button where we can switch between using gold/elix for searching.

Think of search fees as scout or travel fees. As opposed to offensive fees.
If you have a Button where you can switch between using elix and gold you can use either you like. Use gold one day f.ex. And elix the other day. Then your elix storage won't be full all the time and make people attack you just for the elix. Whats the reason with elix when you have th9(like me)? You can't use it on anything except troops.
