I am looking to get into Champions League finally. What is the best way?

Alright. I really want to get to Champions League and get that Achievement that rewards you with 2,000 gems and 2,000 experience points. I have hit Masters League once, with sheer luck, and was using Golems, and Wizards, but now that I have level 5 Hog Riders, and max level Heal Spell, and my base is pretty strong with TH10 and both Inferno Towers are level 2, and my Wizard Towers are level 8, I feel like I am just about ready to hit Champions League. I saw a post from Clash of Clans this morning on twitter where a TH9 player made it to 3400 cups, but he could have been a gemmer. I am not looking to gem and I am going to hard grind all the way up there. And this is where my question comes in. What is the best troop combination to get up there? All my troops are TH9 maxed, I am fairly new to TH10. I need your guy's help in helping me reach Champions League. Thank you all.

I know you don't wan to gem, but spending 5-10 dollars to boost spell factory may be helpful. Also, be careful against disco towers

I think nearly all players at Champs gem something. Once you are higher up, you will need all your spells and your hero's to be able to win. Without gemming this means you can only attack once every 2+ hours. If your base is strong enough to win on defences, you might win some cups on def but still you will only be able to win cups every 2 hours on attack. My guess is that its gonna take you ages to reach champs league and you will have to be online ALOT to make sure you will not get raped when you're offline.
