Is it worth getting BK at town hall 7?

It is possible, you just won't get as much from your lightning spells. And when you're going from drills I would avoid the ones any near splash damage defences unless they're a lower level because your archers are level 4 they'll get 1 hit.

This is the only one I've seen, although I only made my forum account like an hour ago. :p

I was able to farm enough DE using lightning spells and picking off drills to level BK up to 5 and upgrade both Hogs and Minions while still at TH7. It is very doable. However, there are times you have to skip a lot of bases to find a decently full storage though.

For me, being a very active player, i found farming de even at th7 to be quite easy. I got my barb king to 5 and upgraded my minions at th7. You just have to go up in trophies to around gold 2-1

Even still, 727loll,

Dark elixir drills don't give that much as level 1, so lightning de is the best option. Unless you want to gem your barbarian king, I suggest that lightning and a colony of goblins to get the rest of it (useful if either a) your opponent has a lot of de or b) the dark elixir is near the edge of the base, perhaps even c) if the storage isn't finished off with a ton of de) can really help. Hope this works.

I never said lightning de was bad :) I said I do it anymore, I have lvl 6 drills.

One of my very good friends who is currently TH7 farmed his BK in about 6 hours of playing.

1) Gets TH7
2) Starts DE Storage build
3) Is at 1600 cups, taking free full-drill DE raids/Lightning bases DE :cool:
4) Farms 10k DE in 6 straight hours (1/4 of a day) no boosted barracks
5) Fills up his storage again the next day
6) Repeat

I got my bk at th7 by rage spelling a barch army with wallbreakers and giants.

Nah, I only upgraded mine to 3, don't waste builder time.
EDIT: Oops! Definitely yes, but maxing isn't needed, just lightning and barch drills.
