Can a town hall 8 hit master 2? Army Comp for town Hall 8 Push?

My clan is having a push and I am th8 but I want to try to get to master 2. I am currently stuck at crystal 2. My raiding strategy is 8 giants, 8 wb, 64 archers, 64 barbs and 1 rage spell. I can 2 star any th8 with this setup but cannot do the same for th9s, even weak th9s. the xbows kick my ♥♥♥.

Any strategies for winning attacks to get to master 2? I have lvl 4 hogs but I am trying to save my dark elixir until i reach master league. I tried out barch, and i can only 39-45% bases, i cant get the 50%. Its really frustrating. Any help would be great.

Really elixir heavy, but a TH7 made it to champs with mass dragons, can get 1-2 stars on TH9, haven't tried it on TH10 yet. Another thing that is time consuming: TH sniping, someone told me he saw a TH6 in masters 2.

Can def do it by sniping. Reckon master II is the highest you'll get that way.

I have the same problem as u and im stuck in crystal 2 going for masters but I'm using 28 balloons and 30 minions with 3 lightning spells to take out an air defense and use my barb king to pick off the last buildings for a 50% in a sticky situation! this strategy is called Balloonions, look it up to find good ways to use it

You are what is called a necromancer on the forums lol. Did you check the post date before you replied? But anyway, I am also at C2, balloon on wasn't working for me so I switched to hogs/giants/wiz/arch, which is so far working very well! :).

I recon that you could make it to masters with balloon/drag (4 drag - rest balloon) assuming that they are upgraded as high as they'll go.

then maybe switch to mass drag for the last stint.

mass drag, barch or hogs are your safest bets, I would stay clear of bloonian due to level5 bloons being weak

There is at least one th3 in master 2 so sure can th8 get there. Yet, dont underestimate the required time and patience (and gold: next, next, next).

To get to M2 at TH8 isn't going to work with hogs, or balloons, unless you basically TH snipe in which case you might as well use cheaper and faster troops e.g. archers with a few giants to tank vs tesslas, or wizards and healing spells.

Mass dragons is super hard, due to elixer cost and brew time - I tried a dragon-base strategy as TH8 ages ago now, and got to about 2450 before I found I was basically only sniping TH on the edges and had enough of the time and effort.

I believe you *might* be able to use GoWiPe, for 1 star wins, but have personally never seen it, and like dragons it's expensive and slow.

Sniping TH can get a TH6 to Champs, if you have the patience and free time. I've certainly seen quite a few get to Masters, when I was hanging around Crystal with my TH out, and in M2 I do see exposed TH from time to time.

Bear in mind, that in Masters it's quite rare to see anyone that's not TH10 - they exist, and if your own TH is out around 2600 you'll see more as they snipe you, but generally I can easily go 10-20+ raids between even being offered a TH9 base (and I skip a lot, so that's way under 1%).

You can snipe up to masters 2 with a lot of patience. Bring minions arch and barbs because most exposed townhalls will have a lot of defenses in range. After master 2 to get past that drags are the only way you have to get one star. It is very resource heavy and time consuming.
